1st Festival of Faiths

One Church of Mercy actively participated at the 1st Annual Cincinnati Festival of Faiths.
At Cintas Center of Xavier University; free parking.
On June 24 of 2018.
The event, is to showcase Greater Cincinnati’s religious diversity and vitality, to celebrate religion’s contributions to our community’s quality of life, and to model our exemplary interfaith relations and collaboration.

LENTEN PRAYER SERVICE FOR UNITY AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
March 10, 2018
Roman Catholics, Eastern Rite Catholics and Orthodox gathered together in prayer for a prayer event organized by the One Church of Mercy Committee. The prayer service took place, Saturday, March 10, at St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Catholic Church, 2530 Victory Pkwy., Cincinnati.
Presiders and choirs from the Roman, Maronite, and Syro-Malabar (Indian) Catholic Rites, as well as Orthodox tradition, will be present. The prayer service is an appreciation of diverse yet complimentary rituals.
This is the first year the committee has organized a prayer service of this nature. It was specifically planned during the season of Lent.
Parishes participating are St. Anthony of Padua and St. Ignatius of Antioch Maronite Catholic Churches, St. James Orthodox Church, St. Chavara Syro-Malabar Catholic Church and Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, as well as the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
